“Allison has a passion and energy for her work that is infectious. Spearheading an ambitious undertaking like the first-ever Fashion Week San Diego and executing it with such class and courage as she did, despite a few unanticipated bumps along the way, just completely blew our team away. We have tremendous respect for her and what she has accomplished, not to mention her fearless, savvy approach to challenging projects, and we can’t wait to work with her again.”
-Sarah Daoust 944 Editor San Diego
“My business relationship with Allsion Andrews, goes back a couple of years now.
We first met at a SD Fashion event that APA consulting was throwing. I was thrilled to meet someone who was bringing the buzz, excitement and unity to SD’s very slumber Fashion community. This hard working fashionista seems to be one of the major Fashion power players who always seems to be spearheading any fashion event we attend
in San Diego. She is so dedicated, devoted and happy about keeping San Diego as hip as possible!
I feel Allison and team did an amazing job pulling off San Diego’s first Bi- National
Fashion Week (FWSD).
In spite of the physical and emotional challenges that were presented,
the event came off as an inspiration to all Designers, Stylists, consumers and Media folk who attended the event. It was a blast! We clearly know SD is not a major fashion mecca such as NYC, Paris or Milan, but APA consulting, 944 magazine and all of the events contributors brought an event to life that truly sparked San Diego’s Rebirth of Cool!”

“Allison Andrews and her organization pulled off the feat of launching San Diego’s first ever Fashion Week, a huge undertaking. My team provided video coverage of the fashion show runway event, and we were impressed by the amount of community participation as well as how smoothly the event came off. Allison has certainly displayed her skills as an organizer, promoter and marketer with this accomplishment. We’re excited to work with her company to help serve the branding and marketing needs of retail and fashion companies.”

A great networking fashion event- with no dues, no rules, but one goal to unite fashionista’s of all backgrounds in San Diego! Hosted by the lovely Naadine Koi, this months event at the Pearl will be one not to miss.
This great flyer was created by Lindsay Beverly a fashion student at AI and also a great volunteer at FWSD!

Scottsdale Fashion week was a very different from other fashion weeks. My Dad lives in Scottsdale and I love the mall where this event took place. They are home to Neimans, Nordstrom, and great boutique stores. Some of my Favorites were The Glass Slipper- great store decor and High Point for killer kicks.
This was event had two runways a short outdoor runway among shopping tents and then a tented standard runway. Tickets were sold to both. Stacie May showed on the outdoor stage to a very packed crowd. This stage featured many great up and coming designers.
I was thrilled to see our veteran in another state.
The outdoor stage had tiered seating which provided everyone with a great view and ample beverage carts.
For a mall event it was what I expected a lot of shopping! Favorite part (other than a familiar designer and colleague) the sushi at Kona Cafe- Great fish!

“My experience with Fashion Week San Diego 2008 and Allison Andrews is a very positive one. As a result of my participation I’ve been able to network, grow my confidence as a designer, and develop a better understanding of the business as well. Allison took me under her wing, and turned what could have been a terrifying experience for a new designer into a pleasant learning and growing one. Thanks to my participation as a FWSD designer, many other opportunities to grow and develop my line and brand have presented themselves. I also now have the confidence and knowledge to pursue them more successfully. Thank you, Allison!”

The Child Abuse Prevention Foundation was the charity associated with Fashion Week San Diego 2008. The $5.00 from every Saturday Shopping ticket went back to them.
It was great to work with this organization and encourage everyone to give back. It’s defiantly the time for giving!
